Hi, I'm Lorilyn!

I'm a retired elementary teacher, proud Lolli, and natural light portrait photographer based right here in Fort Payne, Alabama.

Teaching taught me how to spot the good stuff — the unposed giggle, the quiet in-between moment, the look that says everything without a single word. Now I get to chase those moments with my camera instead of a lesson plan, and honestly? It's the best second act I could have asked for.

I focus on two things I love most: families and seniors, photographed across DeKalb County and Northeast Alabama. My sessions are relaxed and personal — I'll guide you through every pose so you never wonder what to do with your hands, and I'll leave plenty of room for the genuine moments to happen all on their own.

My goal is simple: images that feel like home. Timeless, beautiful, and full of heart.

Every session includes a full hand-edited gallery — every image, no limits — plus personal printing rights, so your photos end up on your walls and in your hands, not just on your phone.

My work has been featured in Bold & Beautiful magazine, but the thing I'm proudest of is simpler: the families who come back year after year and trust me with their most meaningful seasons.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm soaking up time with my family — being Lolli is my favorite job of all.

I specialize in natural-light family and senior photography throughout Fort Payne, DeKalb County, and Northeast Alabama — with select maternity, milestone, couple, and seasonal sessions, too.
